The exciting opportunity
- Option to work part time (minimum three days) or full time
- Be based out of Lane Cove or Penshurst
- Provide in person services at aged care homes in metro Sydney with future travel to homes in regional locations
- Conduct swallowing assessments and develop and implement individualised care plans
- Support consumers Eating and Drinking with Acknowledged Risk
- Liaise with the Food Service teams to assist in developing menu options for resident’s individual needs
- Be involved with continuous improvement initiatives to ensure best practice operations
- Design and deliver nutrition and hydration education programs for staff and external stakeholders

About you
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Post graduate experience overseeing an adult dysphagia management case load is highly desirable
- Own a reliable car, have a full license and willing to travel to metro and regional homes as required
- Empathetic, flexible, resilient, conscientious, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain) and unlimited working rights in Australia
