- Programs Outreach Coordinator
Description
The Programs Outreach Coordinator (POC) serves as Shiloh’s dynamic relational ambassador to the community, campers and their families, summer staff, interns, and ministry partners. The POC cultivates relationships and connections that foster transformational growth, new opportunities, and strategic partnerships. This role plans and coordinates camper mentoring and discipleship, camper follow-up events, and outreach opportunities, while also creating events and resources that equip and encourage parents. In collaboration with the Executive Director and Leadership Team, the POC designs culturally relevant summer camp programming, oversees camp programs and outreach events, and leads staff and camper recruitment efforts. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Requirements
- Manage staff recruiting and training for seasonal camp staff, interns, and volunteers.
- Develop and implement year-round discipleship, mentoring, and follow-up strategies for Shiloh campers.
- Oversee the Ascend Leadership Cohort, including planning and leading the summer retreat and Momentum Meetings.
- Develop and implement camper recruitment and parent engagement strategies, including information sessions, community events, and communications.
- Serve as a certified ropes course operator in support of the Ropes Course Manager (training provided if needed).
- Coordinate events for staff, volunteers, campers, parents, and alumni, including retreats, reunions, and outreach programs.
- Develop and maintain alumni relations through ongoing communication, events, and engagement opportunities.
- Oversee church and ministry partner relationships, including volunteer recruitment, work days, and special projects.
- Design and oversee camp programming, schedules, and curriculum in collaboration with the Leadership Team.
- Serve as liaison for churches and organizations bringing camper groups, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience.
- Manage camp theme development, curriculum integration, and related program materials.
- Manage program and outreach budgets in alignment with organizational goals and stewardship practices.
