General Orthopedic Surgery | No Call | Robotics | Emmett, Idaho
Join an established orthopedic program in Emmett, Idaho, and take over a thriving 8+ year practice with an existing patient base and immediate surgical volume. This position offers the autonomy of a rural practice with the support of a physician-led health system, modern technology, and convenient access to the Boise metro area just 30 minutes away.
Position Highlights
- Guaranteed first-year compensation of $618,000 plus incentives with earning potential exceeding $709,000
- $50,000 signing bonus
- No call responsibilities
- Schedule includes 2.5 clinic days and 2 OR days per week with a negotiable 4-day workweek
- Medical Director opportunity with an additional $48,000 annual stipend
- Brand-new Velas robotic surgery system for joint replacement procedures
- Immediate patient demand supported by an established referral network
Practice Details
- General orthopedic practice with no spine surgery required
- Perform primary total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, arthroscopy, hand procedures, injections, and non-operative orthopedic care
- Average 30 clinic patients per day and 2-3 surgeries per OR day
- Dedicated OR team including two full-time CRNAs, experienced OR nurses, and surgical technologists
- Practice within a 16-bed Critical Access Hospital featuring full surgical capabilities, 128-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, and on-site laboratory services
Candidate Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency
- Eligible for Idaho medical licensure
- DEA and Idaho Pharmacy licensure
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 4+ years of post-residency experience preferred
