Description

We are partnering with a leading global investment management firm to appoint a seniorHead of Compliance based in Hong Kong. This is a critical leadership role supporting the firm's regional growth, with close interaction across Asia and headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee all compliance matters for the Hong Kong platform, ensuring full adherence to SFC regulatory requirements
2. Act as the primary liaison with regulators, including the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC)
3. Provide strategic compliance advisory to senior management and regional stakeholders
4. Maintain and enhance the firm's compliance framework, policies, and internal controls
5. Support licensing matters and regulatory filings; ideally act as a Responsible Officer (RO) and/or HK CEO representative
6. Monitor regulatory developments and implement necessary changes across the business

Requirements:

1. Extensive compliance experience within asset management, hedge funds, or financial services
2. Strong working knowledge of Hong Kong SFC regulations and licensing requirements
3. Fluency in Korean and English is essential
4. Prior experience as a Responsible Officer (RO) is highly preferred
5. Senior-level profile (Director / Executive Director level or above)
6. Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to operate in a regional/global setup
