The Grants & Donor Relations Manager is responsible for implementing and managing a comprehensive plan for grant funding and donor stewardship. Job duties include foundation and prospect research, grant and report writing, relationship stewardship, maintaining an accurate donor database, processing gifts, and recognizing/acknowledging donors. Position reports to the Executive Director.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Executive Director to develop and implement grant fundraising vision/strategy for CCC and incorporate a sustainable stewardship plan
Develop and maintain an annual grant calendar that incorporates all deadlines and reporting requirements
Execute fundraising plan by creating and submitting applications for grants and other funding opportunities
Ensure all grant and donor reports are submitted in compliance with requirements and deadlines
Ensure donor database is accurate and gift processing/acknowledgement is accomplished promptly
Implement strategies to thank/recognize donors and maintain donor relationships
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in grant writing and donor database management preferred
Effective organizational skills
Outstanding writing skills and attention to detail
Exemplary character
Excellent knowledge of office management and computer skills, especially Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and database operations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Degree and/or relevant experience preferred
Additional Details
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Compensation is $20/hour
This is an in-office position located at 730 W Wilshire Creek Blvd, Ste 112, in Oklahoma City, with no remote work opportunities.
