About Your Company
King Deux is partnering with a multi-family office founded by exit tech entrepreneurs. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst to join our Investment Team. The successful candidate will focus on global listed equities, particularly in thehealthcare OR robotics, machinery sectors, conducting in-depth research, financial modeling, and idea generation to support portfolio management decisions.
About your role
- Conduct fundamental equity research across global secondary markets, with a sector focus on listed above.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, perform valuation analyses, and monitor key performance indicators for companies under coverage.
- Identify investment opportunities and contribute actionable insights for portfolio construction and asset allocation.
- Stay abreast of macroeconomic and industry trends; assess implications for sector positioning and investment strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers to develop and refine investment theses and maintain top-down and bottom-up perspectives.
- Prepare high-quality research reports, presentations, and written recommendations for internal committees and client communication.
- Engage with management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to refine investment views.
- Support the ongoing monitoring of portfolio holdings, performance attribution, and risk management processes.
What you will need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related disciplines; CFA qualification or progress toward it preferred.
- 8+ years of equity research, asset management, or family office experience, with exposure to healthcare OR robotics, industrial automation, or manufacturing sectors.
- Academic background related to health tech / biotech / bioengineering will be advantageous for healthcare sector focused headcount.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg required.
- Deep understanding of global equity markets and secondary market dynamics.
- Experience communicating complex ideas clearly in both written and verbal forms.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a collaborative environment.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin or other Asian languages a plus.
