NewSouth is an independently owned investment manager focused on institutional and private clients through both taxable and tax-exempt separate accounts as well as a private limited partnership. We primarily invest in equities through a value-oriented approach.

We are seeking candidates to lead our client service activities and assist in new business generation efforts.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Client Interaction: Maintain regular and proactive communication with clients regarding portfolio performance, values, developments, documentation, etc.
• Client Presentations: Develop materials and organize/lead client update presentations
• Client Support: Field incoming client requests
• Client Onboarding: Coordinate opening of new accounts
• Account Operations: Ensure proper implementation of administrative procedures, billing/fees, fund flows, etc.
• Account Monitoring: Confirm portfolios are managed in compliance with client policies
• Data Management: Maintain accurate and detailed client files and supervise population of relevant databases
• New Business Development: Assist in the cultivation of new business opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or CFA a plus
• Work experience in a client-facing role
• Strong investment acumen and interest
• Initiative, organizational skills and client orientation
