Job Description
As a Policy Manager/Assistant Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and updating policies to align with international accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of current industry practices and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to address regulatory and compliance challenges.
- Providing expert advice on policy matters and their potential impact on the financial services industry.
- Drafting comprehensive reports and policy papers for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring global developments in accounting and financial reporting regulations.
- Organizing and leading consultations and discussions to gather industry feedback.
- Supporting the implementation and communication of new policies across the organization.
A successful Policy Manager/Assistant Director should have:
- Strong expertise in accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Big 4 is a must
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
